Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
This policy applies to everyone who uses DraftTracks, on the app and on drafttracks.com: listeners, voters, artists and anyone who pays or is paid through the service. It is part of our Terms of Use, and by using DraftTracks you agree to both. If you break it, we can act as described in "Enforcement" below.
1. Content that is not allowed
Do not upload, post, broadcast, link to or send content that:
- is illegal, or that promotes or helps with illegal activity;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way. We remove it at once and report it to the authorities;
- is pornographic, or contains sexually explicit images or video. Explicit language in music is allowed when the track is marked explicit;
- threatens, harasses, stalks or bullies a person, or incites violence against a person or group;
- attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age, or promotes a hate group;
- supports terrorism or violent extremism, or encourages self-harm or suicide;
- shares someone's private information (such as an address, phone number, financial or identity details) without their consent, or shares intimate images without consent;
- is deceptive: impersonates another person, artist or brand, falsely claims to be official or verified, or is a scam or phishing attempt;
- contains malware, or is spam, unsolicited bulk promotion, or repetitive or misleading posts.
2. Music and other rights
- Only release music, artwork and other content that you own or have written permission to use. This includes samples, beats, vocals and cover images.
- Do not release another artist's recordings as your own, or content made to imitate a real artist's name, voice or identity without their permission.
- Releases are reviewed before they are published. A release may be refused, hidden or removed if it appears to infringe someone's rights, or if its audio or artwork breaks this policy.
- You must accept the DraftTracks distribution terms to release music, and the artist who releases a track is responsible for it.
3. Votes, gifts and rankings
Votes, boosts, gifts, scores and rankings must reflect real listener support. Do not:
- vote for or send gifts to your own music, or to accounts you control, or arrange for others to do so for you;
- buy, sell, trade or exchange votes, gifts or DT Credits for money or favours outside DraftTracks;
- use bots, scripts, fake or duplicate accounts, or any automation to create votes, plays, follows or gifts;
- move DT Credits in circles between accounts to create the look of support or to turn credits into cash;
- interfere with a contest or match-up, or try to exploit a bug or a limit instead of reporting it.
4. Payments, DT Credits and payouts
- DT Credits are used inside DraftTracks only. They cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or withdrawn as cash by the person who buys them.
- Artists can only cash out credits earned from real fan activity on their own releases, after they complete identity verification with our payment provider. Promotional and bonus credits are never cashable, and bought credits become cashable only after a holding period.
- Do not use DraftTracks to launder money, to evade sanctions, to pay for illegal goods or services, or to move money that is not yours.
- Do not use a stolen or unauthorised card or payment method, abuse refunds or chargebacks, or open more than one account to claim payouts or promotions.
- If a payment is refunded, disputed or reversed, or if credits were earned in breach of this policy, we may take back the credits that were granted or earned from it and cancel or reverse a related payout.
5. Keeping DraftTracks safe
- Do not try to break, probe, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or to get around its security, limits or access controls.
- Do not access another person's account, or share or sell access to yours.
- Do not use the service if you are not legally able to, or have previously been removed from it.
6. Reporting a problem
You can report a track, profile, comment or other content from inside the app, or email support@drafttracks.com. If you are a rights holder and believe content on DraftTracks infringes your rights, email us with: who you are, the content and where it appears (a link if you have one), why you say it infringes, and how we can reach you. We review reports and can remove content, hold the related earnings while we look into it, and restore content if the report turns out to be wrong.
7. Enforcement
If we find or reasonably suspect a breach of this policy, we may, depending on how serious it is and how often it happens:
- remove or hide content, or refuse to publish it;
- cancel, reverse or discount votes, gifts and rankings that were not genuine;
- take back credits, and hold, cancel or reverse payouts;
- limit features, suspend or permanently close an account, including accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others;
- report the activity to the authorities or to our payment partners where the law or their rules require it.
If you think we have made a mistake, email support@drafttracks.com and tell us why. We will look again.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use of DraftTracks after a change means you accept it.
